On-line Banks Are the Targets of Phishing Activities

If you think that only the honest can survive, some “con artists” don’t think so. They aim at the on-line banks, but maybe they will feel disappointed if all the readers of China Business Watch have read this post Scambaiting Is Waiting for Scammers.
Here are two phishing letters I got in my inbox.
This phishing letter aims at Bank Of America

ONLINE BANKING INFORMATION UPGRADE

And in order to guard against the recent spate of fraud and identity theft invovling online account holders, we have recently introduced additional security measures and upgraded our software to protect our online account holders.The security upgrade will be effective immediately and requires our customers to update their access and Sign in Protection activation. Please Upgrade Your Information For your security, you won't be able to gain access to your accounts until you've done this.(Do not reply to this email. Bank Of America retains the right to send you periodic updates on alerts and services).

Another phishing letter aims at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).
